Description

With this drawing, I am now convinced there is a troll living in my scanner undermining everything I attempt. I don't know how else to explain it. How can something look alright on the page and then look completely @#$!%& up on the screen? Aren't they the exact same lines???

Anyway...this was completely influenced by Falcoon. One of the great masters of illustration. I wanted to try something original and experiment with some construction stuff.

Excuse that lame attempt at a dog. 8( It's just horrible. I can't draw dogs.

So yes...what did I learn from this? Stick to fanart.

Oh G! Your too hard on yourself! She looks great!! If the original looks better my goodness, it must rock serious socks! (My scanner mostly slaps my with the color...oh...the pain....) I love her hat. Her expression fits wonderfully, and I love the shades. Her hair is awesome. The popsicle is making me lust for and orange cream bar. Her hands are AMAZING. Her adorements look entirely natural on her wrists. As for the figure...ha ha...well, you draw the female figure better than I can by like...a million bajillion times. I love the skirt folds, and of course, her feet. XD The little dog is freaking cute, and the leash is drawn in quite naturally. A thousand hugs to you! Bravo!

I feel like my scanner is an art critic sometimes. "Nope. You didn't do it good enough, so I'm gonna mess it up to teach you a lesson." D8

Ahahahaha, I think that dog's brilliant. XD Adorable. And hell, with all the types of dogs out there~ it's hard to get it wrong, man. You did fine. ;)
I love the girl's sylish design and expression. Her hair and details, the way she holds herself...
Also, if you didn't draw that circle with a compass.... ...well, don't tell me. I don't want to know. D;

I didn't think of that. D8 Yes...it's a scottish terrier, chihuahua cross mixed with a rat. XD

The secrets of that circle's origins shall remain with me. ;)

sorry i keep goin on about those guys, but the mushy shape is great, i try to do that some times but it never works out, or people say that it looks wrong, but u pulled it off :D

Nah, seriously, I did try to put a bit of mush in there. Like the top was a size or two too small and she was getting squished back out of it. Sometimes I get a bit carried away and start squishing too much. It is a hard thing to get right. But damn it...I'm just gonna keep drawing boobs until I get it right.

hehe i love that dog, and i love it's plaid thingy on its back

i like that lady's boobs too, the way they are weird shaped, i hope u did that on purpose, if not, then i guess just act like u did.

and i think there may be a troll in my scanner too, cause really i have that same problem where on paper my figures look great, and then once i scan them im like what the hell is that?

Uh...yes...I did them weird shaped on purpose. *looks around suspiciously, trying not to make eye contact* Actually I don't know what happened there. There are a few parts in this I have no memory of drawing. And I did it today! I must've zoned out or something.

This scanner thing...maybe the glass is warped or something. I have the original in my hand while I look at the scanned version...and there's a lot of differences.
