An American I know is shipping off to Irag, in the not too distant future, and he asked if I'd draw him a picture of an Australian soldier to commemorate the occasion.

I have a strange life sometimes.

This could've been better, but I was so focused on getting the details right it started becoming a chore and I didn't loosen up enough.

Hopefully he'll like it anyway. *crosses fingers*

Awww...that was nice of you! I am crap with militaresqe drawings...so you rock socks! That is one snazzy rifle. (And you rock with the drawing of guns!! The best I can do is an L shaped boxy thing with a trigger. XD) The clothing folds are great, especially the hat. The face paint is awesome, and I really like his expression. Cheers to you!

Cheers back at ya! =) I'm not so good with guns either. I can sort of do a handgun, but anything else looks bad. That's why I like doing sci-fi guns. You can just make it up. XD

Thanks. =) I don't know what that rifle is. It was in one of the pictures I got from the website, and it looked so unusual that I used it for the picture.
