G is for Gargoyle

Is it weird drawing hands with less than five fingers? I don't think I've ever tried since I was little. Love the abs of buffness, and well as the tears! Someone's going to LOVE this gift!

Actually, for the way I draw hands, drawing less than five fingers is easier. I draw the palm first and then try to fit the fingers on. So if there's less fingers, there's more room to pose and fit the fingers. ;)

The person I drew it for is obsessed with gargoyles, so I figured if it was a picture of a gargoyle I drew...then they would be more inclined to like it. ;P

How can anyone NOT like the work of G?

There are some people. ;)

I've exchanged comments with them. They made it clear they DON'T like my drawings.

But that's cool. Art is pretty subjective.

That right leg position was VERY hard to do. T_T I did that to try and make the pose more interesing...but it was so tricky.

Cool, I love gargoyles. I have one at the top of my stairs that I most recently painted black. It used to be white. I think he looks great. He protects my hose and me when I go to walk in the dark down to the bus. EEk! Save me!

I think a Gargoyle would make good protection.
