Description

If I wanna draw a vampire I usually do them as a drooling beast because otherwise it's hard to show what they are.

That's why I did the face in the background because I couldn't think of another way to show it was a vampire without that guy pointing to his fangs and going "See?" =P

To me, I've always disliked the fact that vampires looked so close to humans, and I get that's it's to hunt them and all, but COME ON! I also think that no matter what, in those stupid vampire love stuations, the human, will, be, eaten. I have no faith in vamps.

XD I think that generally because they look human that's what makes them so popular. You get all that magic and power stuff but in a normal looking person. And all that really changes is the teeth...so I think maybe people like that about them.

But I agree with you about the eating humans part. XD The temptation to chew on their necks would be too great me thinks. What if they go on holiday or something and there's no-one around? O_o A vampire's gotta eat something!

I really like strong angles in faces. I like that mix of harsh edges and organic face...so I used this pic as a bit of an opportunity to play around with that. ;)

Ya i think that it is hard to make a character look Vampire-ish when you want to make the person normal at the same time.
I love the way you draw cloths. It is really awesome. The face in the background is really cool, I love the eyes =D

XD I was gonna give him eyebrows when he was in vamp mode...but I left them off while I did the rest and liked how it looked so I just made him browless. =P

OMG i just realized some thing. The guy's eyebrows disappear when he is in vampire form. LOL
