Someone's character that I was asked to do. I think his name is Darvell. I think...O_o

That standing pose in the front caused me all kinds of headaches. I redrew it about seven times before it started to look somewhat passable. And then I wasn't going to do the background because I was feeling defeated...but I put it in anyway 'cause I figure two crap figures add up to one good one. ;P

G76Thanks. =) I wanted to do a mix of poses so that it looked interesting. A sttanding pose so you can get the overall idea of the design and then a bit more of an actiony pose.

G76Thanks. =) That evolved as I was redrawing it. My first few attempts were pretty lame...but I loosened up as I went and finally drew it how I normally would've.

G76XD When you do the pose you have to make sure that there's some wind around. ;) It makes you look more dramatic.

ShadowMagicAwesome. like the way you drew his hair.
The outfit is nicely done. I like that you did a side view and a front view of the character. I wish i could draw the same character over again in the same pic and make it look the same. I need more practise. -.-'

Anyway the shiny dots make it looks like it is raining or there was water drops in the camera lens, if it was a photo.
Just my opinion ^-^

G76^_^ Thanks. That hair gave me a bit of trouble actually. It was a strange style. Kind of shortish but then explodes into a big floppy fringe. =O I had to redesign it a few times.

It's a lot easier to make the same character over again if they have a costume on that covers their face and body. ;P Then all you need to worry about is getting the body size right. Oh...and the hair.

Ahhh...you noticed the dots. 8D That's exactly the kind of look I was going for. ^_^ And also...the out of focus lights look you get in photos sometimes.

OricalcossGah! He looks good, but I understand the struggles of the artist so I'm not going to say something like: "You shouldn't think so negitavely about your art."

But I must point out it does look great. I often redraw things several times and sometimes end up giving up, especially if I go at it without any idea of what I want to do. =P

He looks like an interasting character, what city does he defend? It looks like a big city, so it couldn't be mine =P.

G76I always start a drawing with high hopes...but when my construction is not working or I can't get a pose to work that's when I really struggle to be positive about it. =( Sometimes I can be positive, like if I can make a drawing from what was going to be a disaster. =P

I didn't have any real idea of what I was doing. I just went for a generic standing pose and the background one was to try and liven it up a bit. (a little pose I pulled from my Batman nerdity.)

I don't know any information about the character. ^^' I just know the name and what he looks like. I don't even know what powers he has...if he even has powers. D8

Oh...and thanks very much. ^_^
