I make transparent backgrounds by using the Magic Wand tool to select the spots you want to be transparent and use the Eraser tool to cover everything selected with transparentness. I will teach you when you have it!

You do not have to deal with the hue/saturation if you want transparent background. Hue/saturation just messed with your overall color scheme and all that fancy stuff. I do not mess with it often either.

MYPaint.net? I looked it up, and it sent me to a paint-buying site. One day, when you get a scanner/high-quality camera/tablet, THINGS WILL GET VERY VERY VERY SERIOUS. I love the two girls in the middle a lot! Who do these OCs belong to? The girl with than skin has really cool "native" markings, and the Pokemon girl is just plain adorable...low midriff! DETENTION!
