This is a highly symbolic picture of Edward Cullen from the oh-so-amazing book Twilight.
First off, Edward's a vampire. Vampires dont EAT apples. Or FOOD. So, obviously, the apple stands for something. Actually, it can be a variety of things:
For the record, the Genesis verse was in the beginning of the book, and it inspired me. So the apple represents Bella, the main heroine and how Edward isn't supposed to bite her, because that's, well, bad. Also, the apple is in a way symbolic of humanity, and how Edward, most likely on some degree, wants to become human to spend his life with Bella.
Take it what you will, I personally really love this picture <3
