In the Grip of Cthulhu

H.P. Lovecraft might be one of the today most well know writers of the Pulp Magazine era, but he was not very well-known during his life time (1890 - 1937) and he was not a successful writer in his life time. His most well known work today is the "Cthulhu Mythos" stories, which after his death has inspired a number of other writers and artists, keeping the Mythos alive and even being expanded on.
