Ring virus - reborn

So, what if curse of Sadako Yamamura acts and spread like virus? In movies we have curse that can infect our subconsciousness and by mind can 'access' to heart, then whole body. In my theory, ring virus from novels still exists in Ringu trilogy but in energy form, with complete mechanism and nature of biological retrovirus.

In background I wanted describe viral/epidemic personality of young Sadako from movies, although she looks closer to manga adaptations.
