When I first got the e-mail, I thought "How's she gonna pull this off without making him look girly?" Oh, how severely I underestimated your divine gift!

I love the bubbles. They kinda make him look like he's underwater and that's why the ribbons are floating around him. I mean, heck, he can produce cards out of nowhere, why not breathe underwater?

I know what you mean about drawing to let off steam. Unfortunately I'm a perfectionist so I kinda view it as, "If it's not going to be a masterpiece (just a scribble/doodle) what's the point?" Unless of course I'm in a class and I just happen to be bored...then things go really crazy!

Anyway, all babbling aside, I love this pic! Great job! Think you'll ever color it (Or would you allow me the privilage?)

XD I always try to make sure my boys look like boys (or at least you can tell they're guys)! It frustrates me when I can't tell.

Heh, he could be underwater. Maybe he's some kind of water spirit dude? *shrug* I don't really think these things out. ^__^U

I'm a little bit a perfectionist at times, but mostly I just go with it (sometimes due to laziness and not wanting to erase). Although it drives me crazy when I screw up when I'm inking a picture. Then I'm forced to improvise and, even if I make it unnoticable to others, I still see the mistake. :( Oh, doodling in class is fun! That's how I come up with some of my characters/designs. XD Some of my favorite drawings I've done are doodles that I can't find in my heart to throw away.

Of course you can color it! I wouldn't know what colors to use and that'd drive me crazy. I'd probably be too lazy to color it, anyway. :)

And yeah, about it looking girly...when I read "ribbons" I automatically thought "bows" and thought that would look silly. "Streamers" never really crossed my mind for some reason. Heh...remember in Final Fantasy VII that there was an item called a ribbon that cured all status ailments? I saw a picture that had Cloud, Cid, and Vincent all wearing bows in their hair with the caption, "Ribbons: Status ailments no more! (except for manhood)" XD

(goes back to obsessing over coloring) I think a pallet of cool colors would be best, to contibute to the "underwater" effect...hmmm...purples? Yeah...I like it...I could do each stripe on the ribbon a different shade of purple! Heheheh...see what a monster you've created?
