"I didn't think he'd like me because I'm different. But he does..."

I first drew her in my 11th grade art class when I had time near the end. It was originally going to be Lexia looking smug with her arms crossed, but as you can see, this would not be said Lexia. I worked on this picture for 2 months or so (from what I remember), drawing a little bit at a time during lunch. Drawing the grass took me the longest. The pic kinda' went on hitatus for 2 years and I finally decided to pick it up again. Only the sun and the Irken had been colored. The grass wasn't even outlined. What was outlined was done in colored pencil so I went over it with sharpie. Yay for revampage. Haha!

I never decided on a name for her, although I have thought of a few: Alia, Saron, Chi, Andria, Andraya, Alaya, and Andray. As for her background info, I only have a small grasp of that. Basically, she was involved in some horrible accident and had to go through the typical "Inspector Gadget" surgery...thing. The things coming from her back are there to help her reach things since her arms are so short for reasons not yet known. She also has a leviation suit similar to the Tallest since the surgeons couldn't reattach her legs. Heh.

So of course, she's been deemed as weird and probably ugly to an extent by her fellow Irkens, which is mean 'cause she really isn't ya' know? But then a nice guy came along and happily ever after! Or something! *dances*

InvdrDanaThanks! ^^

I learned how to color like this from my art teacher. She said that coloring in a circular motion makes the colors look "tighter". Plus, it's easier to make them darker since it's not as waxy...or something haha.

And this has been a Tidbit of Info from Dana! XD
