Happiness

My second pic for the 100 theme thing, even though I drew this way before I decided to do the challenge. Like back in March. Still, I only just inked and colored it a week ago. And it fit the title so well...I even added the lovely fence and random backround.

So yeah, I always picture Zim and Dana having their wedding in all kinds of different ways since I haven't officially written it up somewhere. But it's supposed to happen in my main series (the one with Zaya and Zaune if you remember them). And I like to draw Dana wearing different dresses, one of which actually has a veil. I personally wouldn't want to wear one if I were to ever get married (everyone laughs at the pathetic boyfriendless girl XD) , and they're a pain to draw. XD

My sister really loved the dress when I first showed her the picture. I have no idea why. I think Zim's suit is coolish though, lol. And I have no idea where they're supposed to be. They techically should be on Irk, but who knows. They're just in the middle of nowhere with a fence and random lake/ocean (?) behind them. I considered coloring the sky, but decided to let it stay simple. And you've all seen what my scanner does to skies...

Self-Critique

I'm satisfied with the colors and background. I think it was a good idea not to ink the background. But I really love the way the lake/ocean is inbetween the fence. I like drawing fences for some odd reason. I'm annoyed by how Dana's boquet came out...I wasn't thinking too clearly on color choice right there, and I'm not too fond of her arms. I wish I'd gone with my instincts and used yellow green on her skin like I usually do. It looks like she's glowing and sickly. XD
