SaltwaterGood idea and lovely illustration.
The vertical tail fits very well the special format of the bookmark.  :-)
BTW, what do you mean by "recycled sharpies"?
(Just curious to know if you have a special method to give them a second life....   :-)   )

that's exactly why I put the tail up. to fit the bookmark....so what it ti make him look like a pokemon? we like pokemon as well as foxes....lol
lol...no I just type lazy... that should read recycled plastic AND sharpie AND nail polish. The plastic was from a package that contained rolls from the Dillons Bakery.

SaltwaterSmart use of recycling packages.
I really love the idea of recycling items,
and using them as unusual substrates to produce very creative artwork.
Nice light brown colour.
I would never have guessed that it was plastic;
I thought that it was some heavy paper or very light cardboard...   ;-)
Well done!  :D

Jadisthankyou for bringing that to my attention. I should find a way to photograph them that shows more clearly what they are.

SaltwaterPlease don't change anything!
I like it like that, actually.  :D
The matt background  with a soft  light brown colour creates a very pleasant contrast with your little fox,
which is shining and glittering.

JadisI see what you mean.   I was meaning for future posts of such things,
I guess the other image I posted with the sketches shows a little more of what it really is, so perhaps on that part of the posting I'll try to be more clear about what it is made of and such. and add a link to that here.

SaltwaterOK.
It is always interesting to read a few details about the concept, and also the execution : tools used, materials, art supplies  etc...  :-)

JadisThank you. some people said foxes don't hold their tails up like that, and I guess that's true, but I think it's cute that way even if it's not realistic. I love that you give comments stating specifically what part you like. thanks again.

Jadisthank you. my two daughters and a friend helped suggesting colors, but I made the final choice. it's fun to work together. I was also limited to the colors of Neil polish we had, which means some colors were not an option.
