Description

This is part of a request I did for a girl at my school. Most of the requests were lame like 'pixies dancing on a mushroom'- toker like stuff. In fact, the ballet dancer is supposed to be dancing 'in blue flame' I figured I'd scan it before I destroyed it. Water colors over tempera paint. I thought it made a neat effect.

Holy crap cakes! This painting was from the movie Titanic! I was just watching it today. I believe they show it twice in the movie, once in the beggining when they first board the ship Kate Winslet unloads all her paintings into her cabin and this is one of the paintings she brings, and again towards the end where their showing random scenes of flooded cabins and people trapped on the boat (it's where the Irish lady is telling her two children a lullaby and an elderly couple are lying in bed while their room floods), they show this painting underwater in Kate Winslet's cabin. Unless my memory decieves me, this is that exact painting or one very, very similiar to it. Was this intended to be that painting, or just a very odd coincidence? Either way, it's a beautiful painting, and I love the colors, and it's from my favorite movie!

P.S: I know how you feel about stupid requests. 9 out of 10 requests I get are for drawings of women with huge boobs! Anywho, keep up the good work!

Indeed that's a really cool effect! =) I know how you feel, a lot of requests I get are fairies >.> you get sick of them after a while...You;re going to destroy it!? lol!
