Taking Sides

This is an ecstatic SaturneVent with two characters she plays on Life on the High Seas. Sinclair Maurice Porter (right) is a French privateer that is her complete original character. To the left is Lieutenant Tom Pullings. He's originally from Master and Commander but has become his own character, I think ^^ Sinclair by all accounts should be in something less obviously French, since he sneaks around so much where he doesn't belong, but I'm a sucker for the French naval uniforms. They look so snazzy, and he looks like one cocky bastard :)

SW asked me to draw her hugging Tom, so I can only assume she's taking his side in this exchange. Knowing Sinclair, it won't save Tom, though-- not unless SW gives the old fox a smackeroo ;) ;) Especially since she's hugging Tom's crotch, an accident in sketching that I did not seek to rectify. She didn't ask for a background, so I just added some gradients with pattern overlays :p
