Jak was fighting a constant battle against his dark persona in his soul, for Dark Jak was constantly wanting to gain control, but Jak managed to get by, he fought his dark self back.
Jak looked at his reflection in the lake. He always found comfort from the sight of water, maybe because of his roots back in Sandover village, which was situated by the coast, before Haven was built straight on top of it. Jak stared unblinkingly at his reflection, hoping to find his usual source of comfort, but this time, he couldn't find comfort, he saw something wich haunted him...
