Instead of his usual self looking back at him, Jak saw the beast that resided within him, Dark Jak, staring back at him. Unable to find comfort in his last remaining source, Jak felt isolated, even more so than when he was imprisoned by the Barron. Everything seemed lost. No one understood him, he wasn't the blood thirsty monster people thought he was, even Daxter was afraid of him. He was alone, with no one to turn to. He couldn't even trust himself, for fear of Dark Jak taking control.
