Title: Don't Think Ill of Me

About this Drawing
There were quite a few things that came together for me to come up with this idea. An idea from one of my best friends, the DBZ manga, and the show “Cops.”

My Take:
All of you that know me know that I like Videl, she somewhat reminds me of Elisa Maza (probably my favorite female character of all time). I’m not really a big fan of those pigtails (they never come out to my liking anyway), I decided to let her hair down.

I was originally going to use this as a wallpaper at work, but I like it so much, that I decided to do more with it.

What I Like Most
I’ve never tried a drawing from this view before, this one came out quite nicely, if I do say so myself. I can definitely see myself drawing more characters from this angle from time to time.

What I Dislike Most
The title, I probably had about 15-20 different titles for this, and ended up not liking any of them, which led me to use one that I disliked the least. Also that police tape in the background. At first, I thought it would look cool, but now, for some reason, it’s not as cool as it was before.

Final Thoughts
With the disappointing year of ’06 now behind, it’s nice to be able to lead off 2007 with something. For those of you that are new to my drawings, I use a different style than you are used to. This style is most noticeable when I do DragonBall characters. I have nothing against the original style, I just wanted to have a style that was different than everything else.
