Yagami Raito

This is Raito from the manga "Death Note", which is a new popular series in Japan. Story's basically about this boy (Raito) who's like, a genius. He's the top student in Japan, good-looking, popular, and is absolutely "perfect". He's bored of life and one day, he meets a god of death from the underworld called Ryuuk. Ryuuk gives him the "Death Note", which is a magic book that if you write a person's name in there, the person will die within 40 seconds. You can also alternate the time of death in there or how the person dies. Raito, having a strong sense of justice, decides to write the names of all the criminals broadcast in television or the internet in order to rid the world of all bad people. After a series of killings, people began to get suspicious about who was killing all the criminals. People like the police force and a mysterious person, equally intelligent to Raito, called "L", began to search for the person who was killing the criminals. The police force, "L", and the general public gave a name to the mass murderer as "Kira", which came from the word "Killer". Enjoy.
