The Tormentor

The person responsible for torturing Dark Angel Sparks....

if you could call him a person, that is....

The Tormentor is a twisted, heretic vine-creature who takes pleasure in torturing the weak-willed and the broken-minded....so it's very easy to understand why he picked Sparks as his newest target.

Anywho, nobody knows what he looks like because he keeps his body concealed at all times, except his hands and vine-tails. His mask is one of the things he cannot live without....if he loses it, he immediately hides his face and either flees or retrieves it, depending on whether or not it's broken.

Altogether, Tormentor has 8 eyes. One on the palm of each hand, one of the front of his robe, and four in his five eye sockets. As seen in the picture, he often keeps at least one eye out from its socket...and uses it as a scout or a spying item....but he can release all eight if needed.

Finally, he's like the Puppeteer character from my 'Spookyville' story, and controls things via the string-wires that are released from his fingertips. While most attach around limbs, one will do a ghost-like thing so it slips through the neck and into the vocal cords. Since Tormentor cannot speak himself unless his masks' teeth are open, he often uses his puppet/victims to speak through.
