This site is much better than deviantART, Storm-Artists.net or Weasyl :- administration here is much friendlier than in sites mentioned above;
- people behave much more decently here than on such dA - I haven't witnessed art theft here since I joined this site last year and rude conduct is quickly punished by admins;
- last but not least, admins here don't oppress people for beliefs, which happens often on dA or Storm-Artists.net. I know, because I've experienced that oppression myself, so did couple of my pen friends, who had to leave those websites as well.
You may find the notification system inconvenient, but it's not such great flaw, I got accustomed to it after couple of days.
