Many years ago the Repliforce army was defeated by maverick hunters X and Zero. But now a mysterious reploid is rebuilding the army once again. Colonel was the second memeber of the Repliforce to be resurected. He wants to be the one to destroy Zero for what he did to him and his sister Iris. But Xylon says that the Colonel is not up to date with Zero's power.
