A scene from the French movie “Un long Dimanche de Fiançailles” (A very long Engagement). I went to see this film with my mother and made this drawing for her afterwards.<br />

This pic was Hell – one of the most difficult ones I have made so far. DETAILS everywhere on Mathilde’s clothes, on her Wheelchair, in the backgroud...it KILLED my pencil – and my nerves.

That is gorgeous, your mother must have loved it. I really like the detail in the folds etc, it gives it a sort of otherworldly feel yet keeps this old antique look to it. I think a pencil was worth it ^-^Magy101 on April 30, 2005, 10:08:36 AM
