Dante Despero was once the terror of all of Alternate Earth before he had met Lumen's mother, Virgil Amitto, and was dead set on destroying/conquering it. He was a great swordsman, a master of the Dark Arts--truly a man to be feared by all....And then he fell in love with the woman sent to assassinate him. He is the true king of the Land of Darkness (a.k.a. Spain XD), being the eldest son, but his title had been stripped of him when he left the family.<br />

He lived a happy, mostly peaceful life in his nice, big mansion outside a quaint little ol village wth his wife and daughter until one day he had been called out to fight a monster that was attacking the village. His daughter had already gone to school so he took up his arms without hesitation. While he was away, his wife had been murdered behind his back by his treacherous younger brother, Damien, in order to stop Dante from creating an heir, for if he did, the throne would no longer be his (he usurped it hen his brother left) or his son's. Little did he know then that Lumen had already been born and marked with the crest of the family...<br />

Heartbreak struck at Dante like no blow ever could and he was left alone to raise their daughter, who had grown accustomed to him being all-powerful, dark and somewhat evil.<br />

Nowadays, he is simply off the wall. He is often seen as any other father....goofy, silly and downright EMBARRASSING. It's too make up for the fact that Lumen didn't have a mother, so he totally gave up his life of fighting and warring for his one and only child....
