Elora Bakura, Basketball Protégé

Hey everyone! First picture today! (Technically, it’s the second picture, but the first picture I submitted is too big XP and so it’s in the submission queue, GAH. I knew I needed to resize it, but I didn’t *sigh*)

I drew this . . . 6-30-10 ‘cause I wanted to draw a picture XP Yeah, drew, scanned, outlined, and colored all in one day. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to post it until now ‘cause I had a picture line-up to post first.

Well, introduction, I suppose. If you’ve read the comment boxes of a couple of my recent pictures, you’d be able to recognize her name. That’s right, this is Elora Bakura, daughter of Ryou Bakura and Miho Nosaka (wait a minute and I’ll explain this). That makes her Amane, Dhamen, and Atina’s cousin.

Okay, pairing explanation time. I’ve never watched Season 0 (okay, I think I watched maybe the first two episodes, but that’s it), but I’ve seen fanart and screenshots and stuff of Miho and Ryou paired together and I thought it was really cute. Although Miho never shows up in Tears of a Lotus nor Undomiel, Ryou meets her in college at some university in Tokyo and they get hooked up. Why? ‘Cause Ryou needed a partner and I didn’t want to make up another OC for him, no offense to my adorable Ryou-kun. I think Miho goes better with him than Kel ever would have any day (reminder to those of you new people, Kel was originally paired with Ryou).

Anyway, better talk about the picture itself ‘fore I give you her bio. For the most part, that is Elora’s signature outfit. The silver “bracelet” she’s wearing is actually like a charm bracelet chain thing and has a small Millennium Ring charm on it. I was lazy and didn’t want to draw it. The background is supposed to be something along the lines of the Domino High School gym (hence the name Domino High School painted on the wall there). The words on the right (if you can’t read it, it says, “What? You think this is some kind of joke? Just shut up and play the game.”) is generally what she says after she makes that face, which I think is adorable. The rest of the information about this picture will come after the bio ‘cause it’ll make more sense then.

Family: Miho is her mother, Ryou is her father, Bakura is her uncle, Kel is her aunt, and Amane, Dhamen, and Atina are her cousins.
Love Interest: Noah Kaiba (not the one you’re familiar with, my Noah Kaiba who is the son of Mokuba and Rebecca (don’t hate me, I’m a KiddyShipper)) and they don’t have a shipping name yet.

Short Background:
- She attends Domino High School.
- Although she loves her cousins, she’s not all that close to them.
- Even though she’s only a freshman, she’s the lead player on the girl’s varsity basketball team. Even then, she can outplay any of the boys on the boy’s varsity team. Because of that, many boys are skeptical of her skills and others don’t like playing her at all. At the same time, she’s the highlight of the school ‘cause she always brings them to victory in the girl’s games.
- Basketball is her passion.
- She has a very strong control of her emotions and despite coming up against skeptical people a lot, she rarely gets angry.

So there you go, that should clear up some things.
