I think it kind of looks like her, but in a weird way it looks like Rose McGowan (think that's how it's spelled). Hmmm. I also touched it up a bit in photoshop, you know, adding some stands of hair, highlights, fixing the stupid mistakes that pastels make. I want to try a different medium, anyone have some suggestions? What works best for you?

Try watercolor or do something crazy like paint with coffee. It takes two or three layers if you want the darker look, but it gives this pretty awesome worn effectpeterGunn on May 11, 2010, 1:09:17 PM

Great pastel work! That's such a hard medium, but I think you pulled it off perfectly. There is a little distortion, but it looks great (I'm not sure if you were going for that). Looks great! Color choices are believable and aesthetically pleasing. Neck looks fine, odd maybe because of the angle, but otherwise anatomically correct. erm... she looks kind of old with those gray streaks of hair and her neck looks kinda weird twisted like that. it's like she can twist her head completely backwards like some random owl. otherwise, great!!!-DramaticAngel
