Germany vs. Italy

I was totally into World Cup this year!!! XD Teh Supah!  The whole 64 matches I was rooting for Germany to win it. Ask any of my friends! I thought Germany was going to take the cup this year. I was all into it!
 
 Germany and Italy were in a scoreless match. Regulation time was over and they had gone into second overtime. For those of you who don't know. After two sets of 15 minute overtimes, a game will go into penalty kicks which is the best of 5. Germany has had an awesome PK record while Italy has had a horrible one (until the final match this year) and the game was held in Dortmund, Germany, a stadium in which Germany has never lost and the stands were filled with prominently German fans. Everything seemed to be going in Germany's favor. That is, until Italy Scored one goal with about 2 minutes left in overtime. Germany had a chance though. . .if they could score  a goal they could still go to PK's. But alas, it was not meant to be so. Italy scored yet another goal and sealed the fate of the Germany team. T_T
 
In any case, Germany placed third in the World Cup an I'm Uber proud of them. They're an awesome team with an awesome *Californian* coach. We'll see in 2010 if they'll make it to the final round. You'll see me rooting for them! XD
