Merry Chistmas!

LOL rly? I couldn't tell, but I lurve Christmas too ^^hehe... Happy belated holidays! I still have a Christmas picture I haven't put up yet.

yeah I didn't do anything special here for it this year, but last year I had this one and another christmas one and that snow day one, plus this cute Marluxia with a candycane instead of a scythe poster thing that I drew for my friend and didn't even post here ^^

LOLOL I was going to say "Wao, I don't remember seeing that one!" XD that does sound funny. A candycane... If I was to draw Organization XIII for a Christmas thing, I would draw ummm.... Yummy, this mocha is really good =^^=

Wow, LDG, ADD much? XP And yes, mocha does tend to be pretsty awesometastic.

And yah, it was pretty cute, IIRC, but I haven't seen it in a while. But it was also during my weird chibi phase, right after I quit the style from the how to draw book, but before I had made another one yet, so it might've actually been really weird.

LOLOL awesomastic! OIC, hehe... I didn't go through a chibi phase, but I did go through a necromanta phase. You know the cat Kilala/Kirara off of Inuyasha? It's a necromanta demon and I decided to mak my own necromanta OC named Kiero. Well, after that, I became obsessed with drawing them. I made an adoption and drew them for my friends and drew all kind of them and shanged the stile on them and stuff and everything! But I'm totally over that now XDD! But it was followed by a short Lunar Dragon phase, which are cats with wings. So I've drawn quite a few cats in my lifetime. Probably a good 50% of my gallary is a cat doodle of some kind XD.

well actually my whole drawing life has been one big chibi phase, until about a year ago I entered an anti-chibi phase. Now for the most part I just don't draw >.> When I do it's pretty much on a whim and not really part of a phase. Actually, come to think of it, I'm in a bit of a (not posted here) realism phase. It's actually more common than not that I'll draw my hand or classroom when I get bored.

hehe... I see. Right now I'm trying to improve my anime style a bit to make it look just a little more realistic. It's good to draw your hand though because most ppl have a problem with hands. I'm alright at them, but I still screw up on them a lot and spend too much time trying to fix them.

I'm...well, see the thing is, I can't draw anime hands when I'm thinking of it that way, but in the end a not shaded in realism hand is actually just really realistic cartoon, so I guess it just depends. I'm beginning to see things that way, that cartoon is just life with less detail, and it really helps me. So yeah, I'm pretty good with hands by now. It's easiest when they're in the drawing pose, I think.

hehe... rly? I'm no good at sideways hands and some poses with hands are easy for me to draw like holding something bigger than a pencil. Yeah, I'm starting to try to think of animation as sililar to realism and that's why I'm trying to add more realistic features in my style.
