Woodburned Chocobo

Woooot! I totally know what that bird is and I've never even played ANY of the FF games! Yayness for Mr. Birdy. He reminds me of Big Bird. Come and play Seseme Street! Wao, I bet I spelled that wrong and my stepdad is looking at me funny cos I actually sang that. But children shows aside, the painting is nice and even and the eyes look vere gewd. Just a question, but how long have you been drawing? I've been drawing for almost 2 years. In another month it will be 2 years. Well, not quite. In another month and then a few more days. Yah... that's it...

lolz. My siblings have learned to (at least try to) ignore me when I do crazy stuff like that XD

Hmm I've been drawing since the last day of seventh grade when I spent the night at Pyra_Flare's house and she taught me to draw chibis... so it's been like 2 years and 3 months now.

Nah, I haven't been drawing way longer than you, just a few months. And besides, based on all those pics you're posting, you're getting way more practice than me, and that's what really makes the difference.

well, most ppl have sort of drawn for their whole lives right? like in 6th and 7th grade I sort of drew all the time, it's just that all I knew how to draw was spongebob chars before I got into drawing chibis. and before that was the era of powerpuff girls XD

LOLZ well, I drew some doodles from 3rd-7th grade, but they don't count for several reasons. For starters, I idn't look at any pictures or use any kind of reference, I just drew them. They were all horses, doodles of spongebobn, and frogs. They all looked like child drawings, which they were. It relaly wasn'y any experience cos I improved very little over those 4 years and they made no difference when I picked up drawing again.

yah, I kno, same here. that's why I said two years ago instead of my whole life. I've always kind of felt like that's a silly question to ask how long someone's been drawing cuz most ppl have been sort of drawing their whole lives, but at the same time, there is a specific point for everyone who draws (and it's usually when they first discover anime XD) so the question really does make sense.

hehe... exactly. The first real piccy I drew was of a lame Inuyasha character.

for me it was just some random chibi of a girl with long blonde hair and plain clothes. Pretty lame, really, to be what I consider the drawing that started it all for me. which is kind of weird anyway, cuz the second pic I have posted here is one of Tidus that I actually drew a month or so before the random chibi and it's so much better than it too, it just doesn't really count in my mind as the first pic since it isn't what made drawing a hobby for me. tho I guess fac is what really did that.

hehe... yah, I made up a story about some random inu chick, but I deleated all the info on her cos she was a sucky char. But FAC is relly the thing that made me keep drawing. It gave me more ambition.

yeah. fac gave me the reason to keep going before I learned to do it just to improve or had enough inspiration to draw purely for the fun of it. Even back then I only drew spongebob chars when I was very very bored.

hehe... yah, I just drew for the fun of it back then, but now I draw to improve, so it's not as fun ^^'

This is totally awesome. It's simple with the shading and stuff, but it's reallyreally awesome! ^^
