Digital painting in Painter 8. This is a reworking of an old work. Iliked the play of negative space to create the legs of the figure, so Itried to stay true to it while tweaking the background.
I know the background isn't much, but it seemed like a case of less ismore, because whatever idea I had for 'more' seemed to detract from thefigure and the quiet, loneliness of the piece.
He's a character from one of my stories and a personal favorite. Idoubt this will be the last painting/drawing I'll have of him.
