Duty

If you've been keeping up with Sonic the Hedgehog in the Archie comic, you know that Prince..err..King Elias took the throne to save the kingdom a few issues ago. Personally, I love him. He's level-headed and the sexiest I think a squirrel can get. Yeah. Even though he did it, I don't think Elias was completely for the idea of taking on his duty, thus the crown in his hand and expression. He did it because he knew he had to, not because he wanted to.

"It was for love that I left my duty, and it is for love that I now return to it."

That's a paraphrase of what he said, anyway. Sally looks on in the background. Does she feel she should be queen? Is she relieved that she doesn't have the pressure? Does she perhaps feel bad that Elias has to take on a task he'd rather not have? Who knows. I stopped liking Sally at about issue 90. She was okay in a few before she got all long-haired and icky. Blech. Picture of good 'ol Mustang Sally is coming.
