nya~~~it's very well done!! You're skilled with coloring and shading...not much to say, apart form the amazingness of the pic...it's so nice!
About the proportions you said, is it true that a woman has her shoulders as long as half her head, and a man, as long as his head?? it's that because you say you don't like her proportion??

It's pastel paper, that's why the textures are a bit weird. I kind of like it that way though...for some reason. I wish I had used tinted paper, but consdering what little I had...or the art store...

The colors ARE nice, but I don't see where the textures came from though, did you use watercolor on pastel paper or pastels on watercolor paper? and also, since you almost literally painted with pastel, it would look better on tinted paper, although this specific picture doesn't suffer from the white speck effect.
