A contest maybe

Depending on how many ppl would o it, I might make it a contest to draw one of your characters as a random super hero... cos I felt like drawing Naera as one. I messed up on the of the hands and the pic, overall, doesn't look very good. I made her legs fatter cos I was thinking of Superfriends or whatever it's called. They have really fat legs. And undies on the outside ^^

Ummm... right... rules. The only rule is that they haev to be wearing undies on the outside of their outfit. Other than that, there are no rules. Go crazy! And you can make up random super powers like... ummm... they can they can shoot lazer beams out of their nose, but only if they're holding a lantern out the window.

wow that looks really really good! All the details, the hair and eye styles, and everything look awesome. and the legs aren't too fat at all--actually if they were any skinnier they'd be thinner than her neck, which obviously wouldn't make sense. Methinks the arms should be a bit longer, but seriously this pic rox!

and sorry, but I'm not gonna enter. I've been really busy lately, what with homework and my twilight fanfic addiction and whatnot. Plus I've still gotta do that request for you -_-' Hope you get lotsa entries tho.

mmm but I really do wanna draw it! I really just don't have the time tho. I guess it would be better if you did it. I still owe one other person a request too (actually like 4 ppl, but those requests are from so long ago that by now I'm just hoping they forgot. >.< I feel like such a bad person when I think about those)

heh, well I guess I feel a little better ^^' Spartan_112 or something like that promised me a request like 2 years ago (like just a couple months after I first joined too. It was the first request I ever asked for and I checked his page nearly every day to see if he'd done it yet at first) but I don't care anymore. I mean it'd be cool but he's not gonna do it so whatever. I kinda wanna just say "it's cool, don't bother" but I wouldn't wanna make him feel guilty by reminding him XD

XDD I understand. There have been a few ppl I know like that too. I mean, I asked a request from them, but I don't relaly wanna remind them to do it.

yeah. I think I've made a good few ppl feel like that ^^' I like/really don't like when my friend Roxie (shiroi_elric_chibi or something like that) asks me to do something because she stays on me and begs me to do it every day when I see her until I get it done, so by doing that she makes sure I get them done pretty fast. so I sort of really like that she does that so then I can get it done but I sort of don't cuz then I have to feel all guilty on all the days I haven't done it yet...but then of course, that guilt is the motivation that makes me get it done, so I can't complain.

XD LOLZ yay for guilt! The modivation that gets my art done is..... ummm..... to get it done! Yah! Yay for getting stuff done! I'm motivated and inspired easily ^^' That's why I never run out of things to draw.

sometimes I am inspired easily, but it seems like whenever I am in those states I always have requests so I tell myself I have to do those first...and then I end up not doing either and falling into a state of just not drawing like evah. which is sad cuz I really like it when I draw a lot, and not just doodles, but colored things too. Coloring makes me a lot happier than coloring.

Wait, that didn't make sense. Coloring makes you happier than coloring? I like it when I draw a lot too. It feels like I'm really getting a lot done. I don't really like coloring things, but it's quick, easy, and it makes the piccies look a lot better.

lol whoops. is supposed to say "coloring make me a lot happier than drawing" mostly cuz I just can't stand the flaws in my drawings and a lot of people are better than me, but in coloring I feel like I'm really a pro. I'm not that great with a whole lot of contrast and stuff yet, but I'm getting there, and my style is so mine and stuff and it's great. But unfortunately it also takes a heck of a lot longer to color a pic than to draw it in most cases.

hehe... I like drawing more and it takes me longer to draw cos in coloring, I just rush through it. I like drawing cos I'm always working to improve my style.

I think that's exactly why I've always focused on coloring; to draw you have to consciously focus on changing, doing things differently, references. In coloring you just do the best you can and it gets more refined over time. Even my drawings have gotten better this way, but only in the way of looking more pollished without actually expanding my style at all. I have been focusing on that recently though, so I'm doing a little better now. It's just so much easier when doing the same thing every time is all it takes to improve =/

Well, that's how I do my drawing. I just draw 400 pictures and BAM I'm like waiiii better. I don't even remember improving, but it must have happened somehow. And i don't use feferences. I NEVER use references. They're like...the antichrist. I wish more ppl wouldn't use them and just focus on their own style.

hate to break it to you, but you don't use references because you only draw original characters so that doesn't really count the same way. and besides, you never know what you could learn if you did use a reference a few times, y'know? being able to see the way it's supposed to look is kinda nice. References are very good things (albeit a little inconveniant) as long as they don't become a crutch.

Well, I don't like using them because I was to self teach myself. And there's very little I could learn from a reference at this point. If I see an anime picture, that's looking at it enough, just seeing a picture should be the same. I lso don't like them cos all of my friends use them ALL THE TIME! That's like my number one pet peeve. So, yah. I'm against references and you can't say anything to change my mind so nyaa ^^ Well, unless I'm drawing a char I've never drawn before, then I'll have to glance back just to see what they look like.

Oh, when I say "all my friends" I mean like 3 of them ^^' They're my best friends, but they're not very good friends. One of them isn't anyway.
