This is perhaps my best work in .05 pencil. I must've been 15~16 y/old when I did this. The idea visited me in class and I started sketching the head. Then came home and did the rest. I myself don't know how I did the spines - must have been in some artistic trance... Anyways, with the shading, I must have spent ~5 hours on this pic. A local industrial band used it for their album cover, along with another dragon I drew. Looking at it now, years later, I can see my technical imperfections, but it's still pretty cool, I think... What do you think? Please share your thoughts. Thanx. 8-)

wow.I cannot imagine doing the same spines over and over...especially when they overlap like that. O_O major kudos for that.
