Harry & Hedwig

Well it was actually more of a quick sketch but I decided to color it nevertheless. Somehow I really like drawing Harry ^^ (though he's by far not one of my favourite characters) especially his hair lol. And he's wearing one of Mrs Weasleys's handknitted sweaters... yay for handknitted sweaters! My mum always made me ones with cool Disney motives on it when I was younger ^^ Couldn't remember if his was green or red in the books, but well... thought green'd fit nicely :) Lol and nevermind about that window sill... it looks way too narrow for anyone to sit on, but hey... it's a magical school after all XD

I absolutely hate how Hedwig turned out though... I guess I kept a bit too close to the reference pic... somehow she really doesn't fit with the style of the rest of the pic o_O Ah well... I suck at drawing birds. Or animals in general actually. It also didn't really help that all the time I had the mental image of that infamous 'O rly' owl in my head while drawing lol.
