Once human and a Caretaker of the Geographica, many long journey's led him to his current position. He was also a time traveler and managed to cheat death living for over 200 years as a human. He drank the blood of a unicorn named Naifin which also restored his youth before his remaining days. Killed by Mordred and later becoming a Tulpa he managed a decent life.

He did end up falling in love in this time. He met a man named Lyon and from there made his life worth living even after his death and becoming a Tulpa. He continued his work as a Caretaker. Later asking for help from the God of Life's Son Leo Runi. he was able to take a vial which helped impregnate him with Lyon's child. Later giving birth killed him seeing he wasn't ever truly suppose to give birth. During the time of his death. The God of Death Yuan Heitari saw this opportunity and took him to be an Angel of Death.

The journal he carries is a list of contracts yet to be collected. Time's written next to their names. These are the contracts he must collect and escort back to the Land of the Dead. The butterflies are the souls of the dead he later has to collect after passing on the lives of those in the journal. Once as soul is collected the name disappears and new names appear again. Making this work never ending for him. But he isn't alone with his work. There are more than just one Reaper.

Since Yuan is a Raven, Reapers are smaller Ravens that can transform and also have wings. Yuan can not put his wings away, But Reapers can and can also change their appearance to hide among the living.

Charlie's natural hair color is Brown and his eyes green. In Reaper form his hair changes to purple and his eyes a bright blue-white color.
