Rapunzel pg. 1

Done for my Illustration class. Our assignment was to choose one of thefairy tales given to us and draw a section of it in the form of acomic. One page had to be paneled, the other a splash image.

Ichose the often overlooked beginning of Rapunzel, featuring herparents. Her mother pines over some radishes in a garden beyond a wall,her father steals some for her, though the garden belongs to the witchand forces them to give her their first born child in return for thevegetables. An even trade, I suppose.
