Nikolai & Cori

Character portraits from my WIP novel, "Saving Nicholas". Nikolai Krichevstov and Cori Lewis butt heads from the minute they're paired up for a term project, but when Nick's mother and sister are kidnapped, English is suddenly the last thing on their minds as they are unwillingly pulled into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a faceless powerbroker who holds all the cards and the means to unveil a secret that Nick's family has struggled to conceal for centuries. Only when they learn to forge the fragile bond of trust will these two have any chance at survival.<br />
