Bid greetings to Gorgon The Fat Dragon! Inspiration of Gorgon was inspired off of how monsters were petrayed in the older Final Fantasy's (FF1-6). When you enter battle the monsters were nothing more then art work that stood motionless and flash when attacking. So, I ended up imaging Gorgon as a creature you could've seen in the older FF's. *Ahem* Forgive my rambling. Please, enjoy.
