This is the second picture in my 'Babes & Blades' concept.
It's basically composed of female fantasy characters, sporting different bladed weapons like swords, knives, glaives, and what have you.
The characters are Kamen Rider Sicada, and Marikit.
Sicada was inspired from the Kamen Rider (Masked Rider in the US) series in Japan. The name 'Sicada' was based off of an insect called a Cicada, which (AFAIK) only comes out once a year. Her sword is called 'Shikon' which translates to 'fang' in English.
Marikit is a character from Filipino Folklore. She's a vision of beauty in the folklore, but I thought I'd toughen her up a bit, and make her a warrior. Her weapon is called a 'Gulok.' Funny trivia, the guy who designed Count Dooku's light saber in SW: TPM, got the inspiration for the curved handle from the Filipino Gulok.

Hey Shui!Thanks for checking out my work, and for the wonderful comments.
It takes me about 30 minutes to do the preliminary sketch, and about another 30 for the details and shading.

i can't get enuff of these pics! all the detail u put in on the armour and weapons is amazing (i have limited vocabulary of words that describe stuff this good so that is why i probably repeating myself alot). can i ask about how long does it take for you to draw one of these?(cool saber triva)

This is just amazing! I love the amount of detail you put into your work without going overboard. Each of the girls you`ve drawn (in all 3 pics) are individual and look amazing! The weapons look great aswell!!! All 3 pages are going into my faves.
