Trick Or Treat

My favorite Holiday has always been Halloween or All Hallow's Eve as I've always liked to call it.

Like with the previous years, I've always taken time to draw something for All Hallow's Eve, and this is what I've made for this year. Probably not my last, but definitely one I really like.

I've been reading back on some old comic books that I had lying around and got to reading the "Vengeance Of Vampirella" series again, and got into this "Vampirella" drawing mode where a majority of my recent drawings have Vampirella on it. I wanted to draw a Halloween artwork for one of the message boards that I'm a regular in, and didn't want to do the typical Mecha / Super Robot bit, but still wanted to throw something in the mix that would identify with the robot fans in that board.

So this is what I came up with! It's the everlasting Vampirella, asking robot fans if it's "Trick Or Treat?" A Jack O'Lantern on her right (with a popular Super Robot face on it), and a Soul Of Chogokin GX-43 Choshou Daimos. Kinda difficult to choose, eh?

Anywhoo, as mentioned before I've never been much for colors, but I'm kinda getting the hang of using water colors. Although, I never really got the glowing effect I was trying to achieve for the pumpkins. I still need to work on that.

For this artwork, I used the following mediums:

- Faber Castel Water Color Pencils
- Pigma Brush
- Higgins India Ink
- Rotring 0.05 Felt Tip Pen
- 2B 0.05 lead mechanical pencils
