Suicune and Arcanine: Fire and Water

To answer that *Oh, dear, here I go again, Clougywolf's gonna kill me*:

This is entirely my opinion.

Raikou: Pretty obvious. It's yellow, has stripes, whiskers, and a strong build, shaped for an equality of speed and power. Seems like a tiger to me.
So: Felines: 1, Canines:0

Entei: It's got a big shaggy mane, somewhat large feet, whiskers (sorta), and a stocky biuld for power. Fits the description of a male lion, dontcha think?
Felines: 2, Canines: 0

Suicune: Ahh, Suicune. The Jhoto ledgendary that causes the most confusion and debate. What I think is that it's head looks like that of a wolf/cat fusion, but the streamlined, slender body and long legs built for speed fit that of a cheetah. The Pokedex entries always rave about it's speed, and it's got the body to fit it. So it's a TINY bit canine, but overall, feline.

So the final score:
Felines: 2&4/5
Canines: 1/5

One thing that everyone should keep in mind whilst browsing my gallery is that almost all of the pictures on the first page of my gallery are from several years ago. Way back when, I saw Suikun as being a wolflike creature. Please do not be offended, it's simply my interpertation of that particular Pokemon. My opinions about Suikun between now and then have changed here and there.

There is one debate that has been going on ever since GSC was released: Are Raikou, Entei and Suicune canines or felines?

i haven't any clue. They're quadrapods. That's all I can say. . . I have become quite open as to what different artists/writers have interperted them as. I really enjoy seeing different people's opinions. :D

If someone has come across a legitimate source (ie: from Nintendo, etc) I'd really, really like to see it. I've been questioning what they are myself lately.

There's one thing that everyone should keep in mind though: they're all Pokemon in the end. Hehehe.

I like Growlithe better though... I've noticed, you seem to like Suicune an aweful lot (possibly understatement). You don't have to, but I'd really love to see you draw a realistic Growlithe! I can't draw realistic creatures, sigh.
