Description
This evolved from me attempting to draw Ed using realism (during which I realized that he would have German facial structure, and not Japanese . . . ), but I got really bored of the picture I was doing, so I did a quick gesture drawing and it turned into this.
Somewhere deep inside of me is a girl who will never escape the influence of American comics - thus, the background, which I blame X-Men comics for. ^_^
Few day's worth of work in Photoshop, no reference used for the pose (but I did look at pics to see what his hand looks like . . . )

That's amazing. It seems like taking an anime character and drawing them as a realistic person would be difficult, but you did a great job with it.I love the expression, and the blue alchemy stuff (if it has a name, it escapes me at the moment) looks like a cross between blue lightning and ice.
I need to find a better place for it on my wall.
