It was just a joke at the young Naruto's expense. "Believe it!" isn't much of a mistranslation anyway. Is pretty much as close as you can get to the nonsense word "dattebayo" in the original Japanese version. The English dub has actually cut back on the "Believe it!"s, Naruto only says it once in a great while now. The video games on the other hand...kitsunelover on June 11, 2006, 2:40:51 PM
