YES I DID. And you wanna know why?
I ACTUALLY HAVE GERBILS NAMED SHERLOCK AND JOHN
I've had John and Sherlock since September and they really are wonderful to have around, even though they make me feel like Mrs. Hudson: "Who chewed a hole the waterbottle?! Augh, Sherlock...." (That really happened a couple days ago and I have yet to get a new one. Don't worry, they still get water XD)
John loves corn and sunflower seeds and pretty much any food, and Sherlock really does have that little crick in the end of his tail. It's a natural occurrence in Gerbils and it doesn't hurt him at all.
But really, I could spend forever telling you about them.
I tried a different kind of shading then I've ever done before (I just took the darker versions of base colors and did the shading. Ta-daaa!) and so it might not be the best, I have no idea where shadows are actually supposed to go, but I kinda like the look of it!
I have been slowly working on finishing this piece since September. When I got them. Yeaaaah, that's a way judge to how busy/slackerish that I've been lol
I'm actually going make them some of the wallpaper to put behind their tank soon, so that should be fun ouo

THEY ARE LOVED AND CHERISHED. I ADORE THEM. <3That sounds awesome! Though I always think of Sherlock as a Cat... but then again dogs aren't really my area ;P
this is a funny concept too and i think it turned out great!
