People can be cruel, while looking for scans of loz online I came across all kinds of Loz-hating crap, insulting his hair, his outfit, the fact that he doesn't look like a little girl, saying that Tifa kicked his butt, (He beat Tifa, and then he kicked Rude's butt! Of course, he had a little help from clumsy Reno hitting Rude with sticks and signs and his tiny flying body...) Etc, etc, etc...
Well, I say, if you want a computer-generated guy who looks like a little girl, there's something seriously wrong with you!

He's a clone. He's crying over the thought of not seeing his "mother"...I can't really explain it, but I'll try. Loz, Yazoo and Kadaj are "parts" of Sephiroth (An powerful, evil, dead creature), and Loz represents his power, masculinity and sensitivity. Together their looking for their "Mother" a creature named Jenova (NOT JEHOVAH!, Why the names are so similar I don't know, but she's definately not God!), who seems to be an alien or something, she's supposed to be extremly powerful but she starts off as an armless body in a test tube and ends up as a living head in a box...Ack, I can't explain it, you can read about them at Wikipedia.
