Flying Polyp

The Flying Polyps were aliens that invaded numerous worlds and devoured their inhabitants. They ruled earth for a time, until they were driven back by the people of Yith, but later came back and destroyed them...They now live deep underground, waiting for unwary humans to wander down and be eaten. They're supposed to be able to stretch and change shape, and are kind of vaguely described. They have no eyes, no wings, and a large, five-toed foot.

I based this sketch on the idea of a small animal known as a hydra, I can't recall if it's a polyp or a medusan. Like a hydra. This Polyp has a small Polyp growing from it's body, I figured that they might reproduce by budding... Coral are types of polyps.
