Well, I guess it's technically correct that it'd be called a pantyhose, but I'd treat those as undergarments. I'd refer to them as stockings, the Japanese uses a totally different word for those kinds of socks. Because c'mon, would you really wear a pantyhose as a garment for school?It deosnt mtaetr if yuo dnot selpl croerclty!

it's actually a normal thing to wear pantyhose/stockings to school, as long as the appropriate length of skirt/dress is worn, depending on the dress code.i don't see the surprise here :P
