Sonia & Manic

Archie Comic Verse: A several year old drawing of how I imagined "Sally and Sonic's" children might look like. I was just thoroughly unimpressed by how little thought was put into their designs (Sonic and Sally clones really). Every other mobian in the comic that was the offspring of "mixed species" parents, were usually portrayed as having characteristics of both parents, a blend if you will. Sally herself is one such Mobian (her father is a squirrel, her mother a chipmunk). Anywho, I drew these two to satisfy myself more than anything. Being a fan and collector of the comic since #39, I, like many others I'm sure, were quite eager to see what the children of the two main characters of the comic would look like. I just wish that they could have put a lot more thought into the appearances of who should have been pretty darned important.
