This is my 4th drawing. I would have to say that this faerie is a long way from home. But hey, who wouldn’t want to visit the ocean at least once? 
 
The wings you ask? Perhaps they are reflections of her homeland, maybe a long forgotten and now flooded forest, or they possibly could just look like that. Christ why are you asking me? This was my first attempt at symmetry and I think that it turned out a-ok.

Great use of color. Love how you have the light reflecting on the hair.
The wings - AWESOME idea. (Oh, and the skirt is really neat!)
But yeah, the wings - that's really neat. I would like to suggest looking at the wings of a butterfly . you've got the right idea, but I believe they should have a bit more of that realistic quality found in nature. Great work on the background, i know quite a few near-professional artists who still are terrified of backgrounds and stick to the subject of the piece only

Wow.. the wings, palm, and skirt are amazing.... your background art is astounding.. and i think the only thing you need to work on is faces.. ^_^'.. to make them match the quality of your other stuff

I like the skin tone! The wigs and dress have a real good quality to them! This makes me want to dust-off my color pencils!
